There has a difference in these 3 information agencies,each of them has a difference function and work,each of them also provide different material for research and for each organization. Below is the characteristic(different) each of them.
Library A)a place in which literary and artistic materials,such as books,periodicals,newspapers,pamphlets,prints,records,and tapes are kept for reading,reference or lending B)A collection of such materials,especially when systemically arranged
Archives A)A place of collection containing records,document,or other materials of historical interest.often used in the plural,old land deeds in the municipalarchives B)A respository for stored memories or in compressed format for more efficient storage and transfer
MUSEUM A}A building,place or institution devoted to the acquisition,conservation study,exhibition,and educational interpretation of object having scientific B} A depository for collecting and displaying objects having scientific or historical or artistic value,depository,repository-a facility where things can be deposited for storage or safe keeping.
The conclusion is these 3 information agencies provide a different function and have a different type of material(information) been provide to each type of community.And each of them has a specific job that need expertise (Expert) in storage information that we need for new generation,for example we need to show the new generation the history of our country(archive).so we (new generation)will not forgot our past.

Museum -to spread the historical knowledge and provide the infrastructure for the facilities convert. -users(archeologist,student,tourist,public..etc) -e.g(History material,coin...etc) -maritim,local history..
Archive -to gather,preserve and make avaiable public records for reference by members of the public and the collected material are that 25 years above. -users(government agencies,public..etc) -e.g(map,picture annual books..etc) -national archive of Malaysia

Assalamualaikum w.b.t, We want to explained about the differentiate between library, archive and museum.
Library collection of sources, resources, services, and the structure in which it is housed; it is organised for use and maintained by a public body, an instituition, or a private individual.
Archive collection of historical records, as well as the place they are located. Archives contain primary source documents that have accumulated over the course of an individual or organization's lifetime.
Museum collect or care for objects of scientific, artistic, or historical importance and make them available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary. Most large museums are located in major cities throughout the world and more local ones exist in smaller cities, towns and the countryside.
Conclusion about this topic: Differentiation of library, archive and museums that include such as functions, types, materials, managements and so on. From our view, it can called as information agencies that also important to our community for gain their knowledge. So, we as Malaysian should appreciate our history, sources, artifacts, and all that related to our country.

assalamualaikum w.b.t, these are my group opinion about the the different role or function of the library,museum and also the archive.
first the library, this place is the location of books and other literacy materials kept for reading,reseach,references,study and consultation.
next is about the museum, Museum is the place where a thing is been kept. The main responsibilities of this institution is collecting object of scientific,aesthetic or importance historical,carring for them and studying interpreting and exhibiting them for the purpose of advancing knowledge and educating the public
and the last one is the archive, the main responsibilities of the archive is as stipulated in the National Archive Act No 44166,are to gather,preserve and make available public records for reference by members of the public.
so that as a conclusion, these three agencies are playing the same role as an agencies of keeping things and also giving an information to the public but yet they are keeping different types of thing.So,we as the user we should appreciate each thing that are been provide to us.
